Hang on to your hats, we have pineapple on our pizza! My favorite combination of all time is on the blog: Pesto, Pepperoni and Pineapple Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 Prepared Pizza Dough
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Pesto
  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella, grated
  • Pepperoni
  • 1 15-oz. can Crushed Pineapple

Instructions

1

Begin by preheating the oven to 450 degrees F, with a pizza steel or stone.

2

Roll, stretch or pull your pizza dough out to about a 12-inch round, on a lightly floured surface. Use a silicone spatula to spread the pesto on the dough, leaving about a 1-inch border for the crust. Top the pesto with some mozzarella. Follow that with the pepperoni.

3

After the pepperoni, add a little more cheese. Then add the crushed pineapple.

4

Finally, top the whole pizza with a little more mozzarella and we are ready for the oven!

5

Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes, until the crust is puffed and golden and the cheese is melted, bubbly and lightly browning in spots.
